Bruce Willis diagnosed with dementia

This is the most hateful disease! I work with dementia patients sometimes and it is heartbreaking. I know he has lots of family and friends around him to help care for him. Best of luck to him.

Plus money, if it was wisely invested when he was commanding multi million salaries.

I know it sounds crass to talk money with such a debilitating disease, however dementia care is extremely expensive. Caregivers get worn out in the process of care and often become ill themselves.

He is fairly young (67 I think), he could live for a short time or a long time. I.hope he and his family get the support he needs.

What is hateful is all the sugar (all types) and other toxic junk that is put into food which we eat (minus what I put back on the shelf after reading the labels).
In studies with mice, sugar/sucrose is related to the substances that clog neural pathways in our brains (leading to Alzheimer’s). Fats and red meat might also be culprits. Everything we eat affects every cell in our bodies.
So now I’m going to skip the extra brownie, munch on an apple and wash that down with filtered water!

I am sure this is terrible for all who love Bruce but I believe his two youngest daughters are not even teenagers yet. By the sounds of this disease, the changes in their Dad must be very hard for girls that age to understand.
