Our grandchildren love Uno Attack and the younger ones actually enjoy it when they get showered with extra cards. Skyjo is a family favourite.

In the world of board games one of the most visually beautiful is Scrutineyes and it might be right up your granddaughter's alley as well as older children and adults. The simple premise is that you are trying to find details in each picture but there are rules to the game. Unfortunately this will require a trip to Ebay or similar places as it is no longer made. It is worth a look. (There is also a Scrutineyes Jr. That one is harder to find.)
