I met Arnold in a gym in the East End of London in 1984, he was Mr Universe in those days.
I was doing my exercises in a ladies only gym and was bemused to see this rather immense guy walk in.
He looked strange in a suit as his shoulders were too big for it.
He came across to me and told me 'You are doing it wrong'. He then kindly showed me the proper technique.
Afterwards he shook my hand ( I was grateful to get my hand back, as his hands were immense, ha ha)
I then went home to my flat mates and recounted the story about how I had met this guy called Arnold Shwartzenageur and they of course didn't believe me ha ha.
So I wish you a speedy recovery Arnold, even though our meeting was brief, it certainly made a lasting impression on me <3
