Good Times Actress and Co-Writer of The Jeffersons' Theme Song Ja'net DuBois Dies at 74
Ja'net Dubois reportedly died in her sleep at her home in Glendale, California
DuBois wrote what has got to be one of the most recognized TV themes ever, that for The Jeffersons. It is a huge part of my childhood, like it is for many of us who remember the 70s and 80s. And of course she was Janet Jackson’s mom, Willona, on Good Times. RIP
