The Emmy nominations are now out! 😁

Here’s the video announcement.

Here’s the list of nominees.

The Emmys will be on September 14, 2026 on NBC. The host will be Mariska Hargitay
I like every one of the shows nominated for Best Drama. But I am most happy for "Widow's Bay" in Comedy which has nomiinations in every category: Show, Acting, Supporting Cast, Guest Cast, Directing, Writing....well done. Especially a character actress like Dale Dickey who has been working for decades and this is her first Emmy nomination.

I am sad not to see more love for "Rooster." One nomination.
This is also the first Emmy nomination for Charlie Hunnam. I believe he's one of those whose work has been underrated, so I was thrilled to see it.
So……is Limited Series/Anthology going to be wide open? Or will Beef end up winning most of these? 🤔

I’m disappointed that Death by Lightning (Netflix) was snubbed this much but Love Story (FX) got the nominations it received. 🫤
Sept. 7 posts from the same thread:
They had the first round of Emmy awards last weekend. Here were the winners.

🥺 Rob Reiner

I guess DTF St. Louis is set to win big in limited series.
Regarding the early awards I'm glad Widow's Bay, Pluribus and Margot's Got Money Troubles were recognized. Stinks that acting awards where given out now instead of the main award's night. They should do something like the Tony's where they start early before the main broadcast so at least they are honored on the same evening.

These awards are going by kinda fast!

So much for The Pitt sweeping the Drama awards......

I  Allison Janney in The Diplomat. IMHO, The Diplomat is the best show currently on Netflix.

SOOO ecstatic for Noah Wyle winning again! :cheer:

That Michael J. Fox award segment with his touching speech and the wonderfully done Memoriam segment both brought me to tears. :fragile:
