This is the best both Alysa and Bradie have been this season. neither one of them look sluggish to me anymore and they both look like they were skating faster especially Bradie. I think they both such a wonderful job. I’m really loving how artistic Alysa has become and I’m really loving how fast Bradie seems to be.

Boo.. rumble is not available in France. I will have to watch them when back in Canada

Well, I'm wide awake (for now) and ready for the last day of Golden Spin! I have low expectations for the first group of pairs, lol.

McInZan - eeeesh... every single lift was a problem - two were aborted. Not sure what his injury was, but they even struggled with catching each other's hands on a basic transition. I doubt they'll get the CTES even for Euros today. They definitely need a LOT more time to gel. I'm guessing they'll compete at either Bavarian Open or Challenge Cup to try and get the Worlds CTES, but they're really more of a 2030 project than a 2026 possibility. 128.17 - into 1st - which says a lot about Alteryd/Pierre, lol.

The Spanish looked like there was something wrong with Marco. He struggled in warm up too.

This is definitely not VaanCler's competition either. Messes on both SBS jumping passes. At least they were fine on their lifts, which was reassuring after the Spaniards.

ETA - 144.51 overall

IzzoMai - SBS jumps - she struggled on the last of the combo and put a hand down on the solo; has it been mentioned they're skating to POTO? If not, well, now you know. Hand down on one of the throws too. And a complete lift fail to follow. I think they have more longterm potential than SchaMayr, but they're not ready for primetime quite yet.

ETA - standings after 1 of 3 groups -
1) Izzo/Maierhofer - 150.60
2) Vaananen/Clerici - 144.51
3) McIntosh/Zandron - 128.17
4) Alteryd/Pierre - no idea...

I had to climb up above the judges on the balcony because the public seats are completely cramped and there’s ton of children running around.

There is something on John CRAFOORD head that looks like it’s shaved and stitched.

Faula/Belle - looooow tech level on the SBS jumps - doubles and singles; she fell on one throw & hand down on the 2nd; lifts clearly more secure than IzzoMai, but I'm not sure I'd have them ahead overall.

ETA - 101.86 FS, 154.69... hmmmm...

Crafoords - the way the announcer says John's name sounds like "Joan Crawford." Hey, a decent 3tw! SBS combo - uhm, they stayed up? Probably < for him; fine first throw; doubled their solo SBS jump; elegant pop on the 2nd throw.

@kosjenka - he looks like he's lost a patch of hair on the stream! I'm positive the hair was not like this yesterday!

ETA - 101.58 FS; 154.53 - 2nd

RoSchu - oh, that's right, they have a GOT program. Hand down on the 1st throw; SBS combo - 1st jump landing was messy for her, rest was okay; SBS solo - okay, I think? 2nd throw was good. Well, this is feeling like a step up from the previous teams, but still not great and lucky to have a trip to Tallinn in their future thanks to MiNiki & HocKun.

ETA - 108.94 FS; 162.69 total - 1st

@Karen-W i took a look at a close up photo that was taken during free skate now - he has bandages. Definitely something fresh.
He was touching his head as he came off the ice and had a wipe/napkin in the KnC that appeared to have a small amount of blood on it. I really want to know what happened now, lol. And I'm going to go back & watch yesterday's stream during the ice resurfacing to see if this was something I just didn't notice or what, lol.

Les Kovs - their 007 program is not nearly as fabulous as BekHern in ice dance here. He popped their SBS solo jump; combo wasn't much better - they stayed up, but... OMG - He wiped out on the entrance to the death spiral. France really may struggle to qualify a pairs team for the Olympics.

ETA - 103.93 FS; 158.45 2nd

ETA - standings after 2 of 3 groups -
1) Roscher/Schuster - 162.69
2) Kovalev/Kovalev - 158.45
3) Faula/Belle - 154.69
4) Crafoord/Crafoord - 154.53
5) Izzo/Maierhofer - 150.60
6) Vaananen/Clerici - 144.51
7) McIntosh/Zandron - 128.17
8) Alteryd/Pierre - no idea...

Regarding John CRAFOORD, he got hit by a skate/blade this morning at practice.
Medic fixed him up.
I was just going to let you know, the patch was definitely new! His hair was quite pretty and without a bald spot yesterday for their SP, lol.

SchaMayr - 3tw - okay-ish; SBS combo - soooooo far apart & a total mess for both; doubled the solo SBS jump; fell out of the 1st throw - they're lucky yesterday went so well & they managed to get the Worlds CTES, because if they were banking on doing it today, it wouldn't be happening.

ETA - 102.68 FS; 159.29 - 2nd

ShiNagy - oooo, pretty costumes. Music is "River Flows in You" - 2tw fine; SBS solo - okay; combo - first two jumps were solid but he only did a waltz jump for the 3rd in the seq; missed whether the 1st throw was a double or triple; second throw was a triple but small. Lifts are quite good for such a new team. This should easily keep them in the bronze medal position.

ETA - 111.99 FS; 170.21 total - 1st.

ChtWoz - 3tw okay; SBS Jumps - both were okay? 1st throw - she kind of had a wild/pitchy landing; 2nd throw landing was also pitchy/wild.

Well, heck, I just realized I forgot to stop recording ShiNagy after their scores came up. I'll have to record & upload after the replay is available. I expect that they will email ahead of ShiNagy, but this was a bit underwhelming.

ETA - 122.74 FS; 185.50 - 1st. Better than I expected, lol.

ChanHowe - SBS combo - she botched the 1st jump & didn't attempt the rest while he did - mess; and the solo SBS - I think he doubled... good 3tw to get back on track but then he was WILD with the release on the throw and she had no chance of landing it. Utter mess. They better get their shizzit together or they'll wind up behind ShiNagy. Hand down on the 2nd throw. Lifts are good. No idea where this will score. So much for the good progress they showed in the SP. :(

I know they plan on keeping this program for next season, but someone really needs to advise them to reconsider that plan. This program is just generic and bland.

ETA - this review is taking forever...

112.57 FS - 177.70 2nd overall. At least they didn't lose the FS to ShiNagy.
