I was not sure where to put this thread but I felt like we needed one. There seems to be absolutely nothing about Champs Camp itself so far, no group photo posted, no evidence of half of the team being there. I find this all very odd. I know we have all seen the Sizzler clips and fashion show photos which are great, but I think some of us would be curious to know if the non-Sizzler skaters were even there. I could not find anything about Sophie Joline, Alina Bonillo, Jason Brown, Ilia Malinin, Amber Glenn, and several of the dance teams (Pate/Bye, Bratti/Somerville, Wolfkostin/Tsarevski, Neset/Markelov), if they were even there. I was glad to see footage of the new pairs teams at the Sizzler at least, that was good. I also think Alexa Gasparotto's current skating level warrants an invite- that Skate the Lake FS was really impressive.

Ilia was not there (no official reason given but he was hosting Kao Miura for 2 weeks of training at his rink) and Jason was in Japan for Friends on Ice, per his social media.

Remember, there was an earlier version of Champs Camp in Colorado Springs in July (Camp 2030) - Amber and Jason were there:

I think this tweet from Jackie Wong suggests that this camp was not a big centralized camp where everyone was there at the same time like canada's was, which is why there's probably not a big group photo: https://x.com/rockerskating/status/2092790059833380922?s=20
I got the schedule for Champs Camp tomorrow - mix of program feedback sessions and off-ice sessions. And they definitely staggered the skaters throughout the week so a number of skaters are already done while others have a day left. I can’t reveal the list, of course
I would guess that camp 2030 from earlier this summer was that kind of centralized camp experience instead and this was more just a monitoring kind of deal + summer sizzler

From what I could find on instagram or reddit people that were confirmed there:

ID: Green/Parsons, Brown/Brown, Pate/Bye (expired story), Zingas/Kolesnik, Carreira/Ponomarenko

Men: Daniel Martynov, Jacob Sanchez, Liam Kapeikis, Lucius Kazanecki, Andrew Torgashev, Jimmy Ma

Women: Alysa Liu, Isabeau Levito, Sarah Everhardt

Pairs: Andrews/Parkman, Plazas/Fernandez, Shin/Howe, Efimova/Mitrofanov, Liu/Bedard, Stellato-Dudek/Siiantysia, McBeath/Nagy

Unknown - Williams/Lewer, Neset/Markelov (was at camp 2030), Wolfkostin/Tsarevski (was at camp 2030), Bratti/Somerville (was at camp 2030), Alina Bonillo, Sophie Joline von Felten

Not there: Amber Glenn (i'm convinced otherwise she would've featured prominently; was at camp 2030), Ilia Malinin, Jason Brown (was at camp 2030)

The media, not surprisingly, focused on Alysa in Boston - I posted 2 articles (San Francisco Chronicle & Boston Globe + an interview clip) in her news thread in GSD: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...-27-fear-not-ill-be-back.114050/#post-6949101

There was a press conference before Summer Sizzler with Carreira/Ponomarenko, Efimova/Mitrofanov, Jacob Sanchez, Zingas/Kolesnik - photos & quotes:
The Fashion/Styling event & Summer Sizzler thread in GSD has links to the skaters' posts/photos/Champs Camp "fluff" videos, etc.

I haven't seen much skating content at all - here's a clip of a smooth throw 3S by Andews/Parkman: https://www.instagram.com/p/DcomIPIEQv9/?img_index=3 (#6 is an off ice double twist)

Liu/Bedard posted a photo on the ice to prove they were there ;): https://www.instagram.com/p/DcmK4i3SmTR/

I also saw an Instagram story of Naomi Williams getting ready to skate last week.

Thank you for all the info. Don't mean to thread drift but I am noticing a pretty shocking absence of US women here. Other disciplines look pretty robust, especially pairs and dance. Having really only seen Sarah Everhardt look in form thus far for the senior women (Alysa looks great but isn't competing), I am hoping that USFS doesn't gatekeep the international assignments from the age-eligible senior women who have been skating well this summer, even if they finished low or didn't make Nationals in 2026. They've already seemingly lost Sonja's spot at Kinoshita (no alternate was named) and had Katie Shen wd after SP at Cranberry, but I am glad that Logan, Chloe, and Alexa were named at least. Even if nobody else of the GP skaters is ready (I have no inside info, it just kind of seems that way), I hope the next couple challenger events would be given to skaters like Kendall Erne, Erica Machida, Lianna O'Grady and Maile Hilbelink, maybe even Ria Basu and Hannah Gahan. They may not all come away with medals, some may not even come close, but they at least deserve a shot at a SB. Also, Alexa, Logan, and Chloe should be supported with a 2nd assignment. I think Alysa taking the season off, Isabeau's injury, Starr's switch to pairs, Josephine Lee and Sherry Zhang moving on to college, and many of our juniors turning senior being too young leaves quite an unexpected void, but there actually are some good skaters filling that void. I think we will see soon how this story is going to go.

We didn’t have brilliant women beyond the top three last year either. I had hopes for Elyce but her inconsistency got her, Sarah is still not a performer in any way, and some of the younger skaters like Sherry and Logan didn’t make their marks internationally. This year the Japanese and Russians, plus a few Koreans and Europeans, will take the medals with Alysa and Amber (?) gone and Isabeau injured.

I enjoyed the fluff video from Champs Camp that was published today.
(IIRC, it was teased on social media back when Champs Camp was happening, but I think USFS had not shared the full video package until now.)

"Figure Skaters Make Artisanal Coffee" (7:15)
Featuring Michael Parsons and Balazs Nagy -- with Caroline, Katie, and Andrew T as taste testers at the end.

Remember, there was an earlier version of Champs Camp in Colorado Springs in July (Camp 2030) ...

Belated answer, if you still are interested, Sylvia:
Pretty sure that it is Dmitry Chaplin (who has been a recurring resource for USFS camps/skaters for several years now, IIRC?) in the final bit of video with Randi.
When she used a similar snippet in a later post, she tagged him.

ETA:
btw, USFS Champs Camp video in Sylvia's post below happens to show Dmitry working off ice with Andrew T.

Nagy and Parsons made artisanal coffee in Boston. Their partners and and Andrew Torgashev decided the winner.
