That was an exciting steeplechase. Glad to see Krause win, I like her as an athlete, she’s achieved a lot over the years. Disappointed for Meyer after all her front running but she just seemed to lose focus on the water jump.

Good luck to Mark and Rhasidat later on Hopefully some silverware for them tonight.

What a night for Ireland. Well done Mark & Rhasidat. Two great runs.

Hard to believe Mark won our first individual men’s gold medal. I was dissapointed for Max Burgin having to pull out injured, especially after his bad luck in Glasgow. Rhasidat looked so confident being introduced and ran a great race, finishing very strongly in a new NR.

Both give great interviews on RTE.
