I would imagine then their target this year is US Nationals

It's going to be fun to see so many new pairs teams battling it out at Nationals. I love Deanna's spirit and will be rooting on DS&DS.

Thanks for the new list. The new pairs teams are getting a lot of love, which is great for them. I feel bad that some of the dance teams were left out. (Plus, I am really looking forward to seeing the Queen's Gambit from the Browns and was hoping they would be added, especially since they are in Boston.)

I was among those who were a bit at Stellato's switch back to the US so soon after getting Canadian citizenship, but her Instagram post about her genuine appreciation for Canada + "chas[ing] goals that inspire me, not in my 'next life' but in this one" was beautiful and heartfelt. She changed my mind. Which is very hard to do. She could have a career in PR or politics after skating.

Unless someone chooses to pair themselves with a clear scumbag, I don't really take citizenship switches that seriously in ice dance or pairs. Getting offended is pointless when half of who you represent depends on what partner is a match for you.

Right now the US has a lot more pairs guys and is doing a hell of a lot more to develop and match pairs than Canada, so it makes sense that Deanna would have luck in the US. I would also imagine a lot of guys don't want to pair with her. Not because she isn't motivated or great, but because some of the younger guys may want a younger partner who could have a longer future career if things work out.

You should be able to watch even without an Instagram account - I just tested it out on my phone.

ETA: Since you were able to watch the video of Sarah's SP on Reddit, keep an eye out for more videos shared there by AmeliaSandrine.

USFS' YouTube channel should have "Summer Sizzler" available to watch for a short time in the near future (last year's was uploaded a week later).

I agree they have a nice look. I suspect not expecting too much is related to tech content: double twist, double toes (not especially well synched), no throw or lift, etc. Again full for seven weeks, but I wouldn't personally raise expectations until we see more tech content.

JGP Riga U.S. Junior Pairs results (11 teams competed):

SILVER Reagan MOSS / Jakub GALBAVY USA 145.28 2 3 (88.96 in FS) - 1st JGP medal on their 5th try; 146.74 is their ISU PB at 2025 JGP Bangkok
8 Juliet MEEK / Devin MEEK USA 117.26 7 8 (72.99 in FS) - think Mark H. said they're scheduled for John Nicks next
10 Julianne WONG / Jared McPIKE USA 103.57 10 10 (64.86 in FS) - scored just over 2 points higher than their debut at Skate Detroit last week (100.89)

The new Junior team of Olivia Jung/Carter Griffin won Skate Detroit NQS (127.70/80.56 in FS) last week and they will make their international debut at John Nicks (I presume they will make their JGP debut in Gdansk).

Moss/Galbavy are scheduled to compete at CS Kinoshita Group Cup in Japan next week (ETA: their delayed CS debut - they had traveled to Trialeti Trophy in GEO last year but could not compete due to his skates that never arrived); then JGP #7 in Gdansk.

I was a little skeptical of Last Dance for Efimova & Mitrofanov but after watching the video, I really liked it! It's nice to see a new, more fun and upbeat style from them. I think this could be a really great vehicle for them as the season progresses.
