So, I've already seen on X the following info -

Women - Saprina KGZ trains with Angels of Plushenko (ETA - she skated for KGZ as a youngster & has returned to represent her home country, so she's not really a rental Russian for KGZ); and apparently Grashchenkova UZB is a Russian release with a 4Lo, 4Lz & 3A (practice clips).

Pairs - for sure Shesheleva/Karnaukhov AIN2, Chen/Dong CHN (Jr Worlds 4th, JGPF 5th), Zhang/Feng (JGPF 2nd) are the likely medal contenders with Jarmoc/Witkowski USA maybe playing spoiler should one of those teams falter.

Dance - Fefelova/Valov AIN2, Homick/Buelow CAN, Bianchi/Basile ITA (Jr Worlds 7th), Calhoun/Zheltyshev USA are the likely medal contenders; though there are several new teams that could surprise, I'm sure.

[FRA] Boys are back to Champigny vs Annecy. They are all new to the JGPs. But where is Elian Thomann ? I hope he's not injured.
Other than that, I'm quite happy to see Baptiste Gellon is in for his first eligible season.

Ice dance is 5 couples from Lyon, 3 youngsters from Villard, 2 from Chalons, 1 from Reims, 1 (newly paired, he's from the US) from Vitry and 1 from IAM (with 2 canadians skating for France). Unfortunatly, they won't all make the JGP.

ETA: if I checked properly, France didn't use its girl's entry in China so it is left with 4. Gladki will take 2. I hope some other girl get 1, like Anne-Sophie Heurtebis who is 14. OTOH, France has 3 entries for 4 boys.

Profiles have been added and the dance spot is a new [German] team: Dessie Hoewing-Moxley / Artyom Sladkov. (He previously competed with Nelly Hemcke, she was in solo dance representing the US.)

Always glad to see solo ice dancers find partnership opportunities!

They are a WISA team. Since WISA already has a Chinese team [Y/Y] and an American team [S/K] at JGP China, guess it's a reasonable choice to send them.

USFS listed the top 14 men's finishers in the U.S. Junior Team Cup in Milwaukee and the top 15 women (Fegan & Samiri did not compete in Milwaukee but I assume they could be included in the future).

USFS has always listed a ton of subs. There's no limit on subs for JGPs, AFAIK. It's mainly for later JGPs when decisions often are made for strategic purposes - which singles skaters/teams get a 2nd spot with a chance to make the JGP Final or which skaters get their first assignment (larger pool to choose from).

I believe the number of alternates is more limited for ISU Championships, yes.

There was a rumor a couple weeks ago that AboVes were maybe going to Thailand for their first JGP this season. They could be doing Thailand and Turkey if there are still the concerns about him getting a visa for Latvia or Poland.

If A/V’s first JGP is indeed Bangkok, I had assumed, for timing and visa reasons, their second would be Batumi. Let’s see what happens.

For visa reasons, I can’t see them going to Poland.

ETA: they could of course do Ankara as a second event, but having one week at home or slightly less between returning from Thailand and leaving for Turkey is far from ideal.

Right, but there's a 2 week break between Bangkok and Ankara, so they could be doing back-to-back JGPs.

Top 2 were Yihan Wang CHN (210.36) who's listed as a sub for Xi'An and Ariel Guo HKG (188.51) who's scheduled to compete.
Ariel also competed in the Junior event and won, scoring 176.65 (118.38 in FS).

China may not have enough junior pairs teams to justify using more than 3 spots per JGP. There's no good reason to assign all three of their teams that made the JGPF last season to the same JGPs this year. They can maximize their chances of qualifying all three (or more) teams by spreading out the assignments. I'd worry if they aren't on the JGP Latvia list next week.

A/V will encounter Fefelova/Valov if they still choose to do Bangkok. Masha & Artem are younger and less experienced comparing to Hana & Danill. Looking forward to see what will happen.

China has some other junior pairs, but CFSA has set a qualifying score of 120 points for teams to be eligible for JGP. At
Interclub Stage 1 only three teams have achieved that.

I found Norway's JGP selections on their fed's website. They made their selections public way back in May. The translation feature I'm using seems to substitute the Norwegian word for "selection" with "withdrawal" which makes for a confusing read.
