This was my thinking too. He wants an option for training when back in BC, assuming for many reasons keeping the Murphy's for this option wouldn't make sense given he wants a change. I'm pretty sure not a single poster here would want him considering Joanne McLeod as an optionit could be as simple as Wesley admires/looks up to Chan and wants someone to work with when he's back home in BC visiting family. . So not sure if that leaves any other BC based coaching options with experience in Senior Men's singles, hence where Patrick helps to provide a good option all things considered.

I'm not convinced that this is actually his short program music. JMO. When Benoit does a music reveal, he tends to make a bigger deal of it and make more official. He sometimes will post glimpses of choreography using music that is not the actual music for the program. We'll know pretty soon. Benoit is having the skaters do interviews to release and discuss the music information and Gogolev's probably will be released soon.
As noted upthread, last month he posted not only a quad lutz and quad loop but also a quad flip. Here's hoping that he is gaining some consistency with them and can do them in a program. That could make things very interesting!

No. I thought I was seeing a 4-3. But, none of the quads he posted recently were in combination, so I wondered if it was just a 3-3 and I was imagining an additional rotation.
