2025-26 US Pairs Discussion - Milano-Bound By Way of Beijing & St. Louis

I am sure there is some unspoken rule about announcing a new team while still touring with your old partner....and I def don't have any inside info but for whatever reason I can't really see the Olympic US pairs teams continuing and I don't know why exactly I feel that way, still def doesn't mean Shin/Howe are official or anything but this seems somehow believable to me

I'm 4'11"ish and Katie is baaaarely my height, I'd say she's more like 5ft. She's a really neat person, we ended up talking for ages in Wichita - she was so proud of that medal wearing it at the airport! I hope she finds a partner that's NOT Balazs from all the stories I've heard of what a douchebag he is.

For me, Katie has been a longtime favorite, who has the It factor and obvious charisma. It is a joy to see her love of skating.
Hope she finds a new partner without delay.

But someone other than Max Fernandez. Long live the Plazas/Fernandez partnership -- I look forward to their new programs.

I'm rooting for Luke to move to SoCal and partner with Katie.

The only person who has announced that Shin/Howe are forming a new partnership is Dave Lease, so take that for what it's worth.

At this point Chan/Howe and Kam/O'Shea are still intact.

There's no way Max is 5'7" - there are plenty of 5' and 5'1" pairs girls out there and I know their team has talked about how difficult it was for him to find a partner who was short enough.

In the new this week in skating interview they don’t confirm they’re still competing. Danny mentions they’ll have to have some tough discussions later in the summer.

I still get the vibe he’s angling for dancing with the stars.

New junior team - Tallulah Tanner & Blake McGee - they will train at Great Parks Ice, part of TeamTodd&Jenni.

Well now... just posted on TeamTodd&Jenni's IG.

Lowkey confirmation of McBeath/Nagy? And Liu/Bedard are, conspicuously, not included in the group photo.

ETA -
Two photos - top one, left to right - (I think I've correctly identified most of the novice/junior level teams, but feel free to correct me)
Laz Lune & Teryn Kim; Blake McGee & Tallulah Tanner; Carter Griffin & Olivia Jung; Christine Binder; Brandon Frazier; Jenni Meno; ?? & Genesis Lira; Beck Strommer & Noelle Ahn; Balazs Nagy & Katie McBeath; Daniil Parkman & Starr Andrews

Bottom one - looks like a lower level teams with no tags pictured with Christine, Jenni & Brandon

Whoa. First pic of Audrey & Spencer...

Interesting that McBeath and Parkman will continue to train with the same coaches. I guess their split must have been quite amicable.

I missed the Audrey/Spencer news. It really is Change Partners and Dance. Is Emily done?
The usual worst suspect as far as FS rumors & gossip has been claiming for several weeks now that Audrey & Spencer were skating together but neither Emily nor Spencer have made any announcements and I saw a rumor on X that Emily was seen skating with Danylo Siianytsia in Colorado Springs this past week. Who knows what will happen, but, yeah, like @Wyliefan said, that photo seems to be the softest of soft launches for a Shin/Howe partnership.
