They have to do the flip, either a double or triple. But if they are flutzing, they have the option to do the loop of course. But I think the mindset for so many coaching teams is 'more difficult means better GOE and/or PCS", regardless of the potential (yet rare) 'e' call.

I have my doubts about the lutz and the toeloop, and or course this music choice should be penalised.

Yeah, I did think it might be wicked, but it doesn't scream wicked. I feel like black with green would scream wicked more. Or half green and half pink. This could easily be Riverdance.

Sakamoto should be happy Shimada can't compete in senior yet.

I'd have to imagine the motivation probably is difficult to keep up when you've had the success she's had at this level, but yet again a fantastic short program. She's glorious. Off the charts charisma!

At least some choreographers will give us unholy combos of both. Sometimes cutting in between mid lyric.
