Eh, he's not had it quite this long before, so I think he just didn't realize he needed to make a trip to the barber before leaving Japan this week.

He's barely attempted them internationally and I don't think he's had a great success rate. Junior Worlds last year for sure yes.

Somewhere Tanith Belbin is rolling her eyes and calling these cheesy 80s montage music, just as she did on her long-winded rant against Tarasova & Morozov many years ago. It was so out of place for her and I loved every minute of it.

This song was all over skating in the early 80s and even into the 90s.

Well, Jacob's jumps were definitely a bit on the tight/wild side today - adrenaline of his first JGPF definitely putting in an appearance, but I'm impressed with how reliable his 3A has become since last season.

not the best posture and glide of the men but clearly the best tech today

I remember Jacob from a competition I volunteered at years ago and what I remember most is that he was super friendly with everyone, his competition included. He has very natural charm and energy that just draws you in on and off the ice.
