This event misses skaters like Konstantinova, Talalaikina, and Gubanova. Skaters with a point of view and an actual sense of performance quality.

Hell, I'd even take Ryabova's Mambo Italiano right about now.

In the past, skate offs have not worked in her favor If Sasha lands 3 quads in the FS, it's over for Tuk.

She wouldn't necessarily have to pull up to 4th, by my count she's 4th of the age eligble skaters right now.

There's going to be a warmup group separation between Trusova and both Tuktamysheva and Khromykh in the long. I bet everything falls back into normal world result by the end, but they are going to need 5 more competitions to pick the Olympic team if more weirdness happens tomorrow.

I'm all for Russia adapting a SP skate order system similar to that of the ISU.

This skate order pretty much guaranteed that the competition started with a bang and ended with a whimper. Not a fan.
