"Skaters/couples participating in the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2022 must have reached the following Minimum Total Elements Scores during the ongoing season (2021/22) or the two immediately preceding seasons (2020/21 and 2019/20)":

These are the 4CCs countries with skaters who have achieved the TES mins:
* = the skaters with the TES mins haven't competed this season or only competed at Nebelhorn:

Men - AUS, CAN, CHN, TPE*, HKG, JPN, KAZ, MAS*, MEX, PHI, KOR, RSA, THA*, USA
Women - AUS, CAN, CHN, TPE, HKG, IND, JPN, MEX, NZL, PHI, KOR, SGP*, USA
Pairs - AUS, CAN, CHN, PRK*, JPN, USA
Dance - AUS, CAN, CHN, JPN, KAZ*, NZL, KOR*, USA

1) AUS - 3 men, 2 women, 2 pairs, 3 dance
2) CAN - 3 in each discipline
3) CHN - 3 in each discipline
4) TPE - 3 women?
5) HKG - 1 man, 3 women?
6) IND - 1 woman
7) JPN - 3 men, 3 women, 1 pair, 2 dance?
8) KAZ - 2-3 men
9) MEX - 1 man, 2 women
10) NZL - 1 woman, 1 dance
11) PHI - 1 man, 2 women?
12) KOR - 2 men?, 3 women
13) RSA - 1 man
14) USA - 3 in each discipline
*15) PRK
*16) MAS
*17) SGP
*18) THA

Best guess - The countries with * skaters and China (they're holding their last 2 Olympic qualification competitions for their Men & Women the same weekend as 4CCs) do not intend on sending a delegation next month.

I'm wondering if Miura/Kihara will decide to compete in 4CCs since they missed the GPF and Japanese Nationals, or if they'll need to be in China too soon afterward for the TE to risk it.

For Korea, 5 men has TES minimum for 4CC. Se Jong BYUN is no longer active in competition. The Ranking Competition result (which distributes the 4CC tickets) of the remaining 4 men is,

1. Junhwan CHA
2. Sihyeong LEE
3. Jaeseok KYEONG

5. Younghyun CHA

No. 4 of the Ranking Competition, Juheon LIM, is a newcomer and has never participated in an international competition. It is not clear if he is senior eligible. No. 6, Jaekeun LEE, is not senior eligible.

Even if Lim was age-eligible, he wouldn't be able to compete at 4CCs since he doesn't have the TES mins, which is unfortunate. Hopefully next season the KSF will be able to get more of their men out to compete at some senior Bs and widen the pool of eligible skaters.

I was about to predict that TBA/TBA would win both dance and pairs, but forgot that MurTak have a good chance of stealing the show in pairs.

In dance..

But one of Hawayek/Baker or Green/Parsons will likely be there, so I don't know about that.

I am sad not to see Maral-Erdene Gansukh from Mongolia, but she probably doesn’t have the minimums.
No, unfortunately. Neither did Yae-Mia Neira of Chile. But it is exciting to see Tara Prasad and some of the other OAS skaters who now do have the mins!

So, in the Euros subforum, it's been announced that PapCiz are skipping because of the lack of a bubble in Tallinn. I really hope that Donovan Carillo, as well as the Olympics-bohnd Aussie and Korean skaters are withdrawn from this event.

This will be a nerve-wrecking event with all the skaters travelling from so far towards an already critical area.

And although I get the worries for the Olympics-bound athletes, I don't like the idea of the others being put at risk lightly!

Looks like Harley & Maria are also out of 4CCs. So it's down to the US & CAN teams, which begs the question, will they get WS points? It is still an ISU Championship, right?

Also out are Joanna So HKG and Donovan Carrillo MEX. Thank goodness the Mexican Fed decided to keep Donovan safe for Beijing than make him travel to Tallinn right now!
