Who knows, maybe Evgeni S. will have an outside chance of joining two of them in Oberstdorf if he skates really well again here? ;)
Brain spasm by me, whoops. :slinkaway

ETA that I believe the FS replay link should be the same except that /figure-skating/ replaces the /ice-skating/ part of the URL?

He can't since he was one of the 2 Russian men who made the FS at Worlds. It'll have to be one of the Stamina Boys.

I'm not sure I'll be able to make it through the men. I'm feeling very tired and, unfortunately, I can't just sleep ALL day tomorrow - annoying training class for work that was only available tomorrow and not again until mid-May. Granted if I can push through the men, I'll still get at least 8 hours of sleep but that also requires me waking up and the way my arm is feeling, there might not be a guarantee of that happening, lol.

And it’s Pooh Time!!!!

Too bad about Rizzo out. I wish that they could’ve granted Yuma Kagiyama temporary Italian citizenship...to see him here.

I hope Kolyada feels no real pressure and skates his FS to perfection. I want to see it clean one more time this season. He really, really should use it again next season. It is by far the best program he has ever had. He won't beat the quad boys, but he could sneak into a bronze Olympic medal if he skates it to perfection (in my dreams).

His SP, OTOH, can go. I don't think it really suits him.

Semenenko has had a pretty good debut season. He's a work in progress, but he and Mishin can be very pleased with what he's accomplished.

I’m missing Mrs Mishin’s cute reactions.

Well, the boy isn't as elegant as Aliev or as pretty as Ignatov, but he gets the job done which is why he's here and they aren't.

Semenenko really needs to get some polish, if some of the other Russian men land their jumps ( :shuffle: ) he doesn't have a ton else at present. Take inspiration from his training mate.

Japan could make up quite a bit of ground here, not b/c Semenenko is bad but b/c their skaters are so good and Semenenko's ceiling is only so high.
