I absolutely <3 G/P but this seems a lot more forced and a lot less quirky and original than some of their previous RDs.

And as a huge fan of Elton John's glitziest period, I can't say I ever remember him wearing an outfit that colour. G/P usually have great outfits but I can't say these are doing much for me either. They don't seem connected to anything about the program.

No, I was expecting or wanting to see something more or different. I don't think this is going to move them up. But some rhythms really dont' translate well to ice.

From what we've seen so far this season, the levels don't always seem to be tied to the keypoints. Or the GOEs. Or anything really.

I don't understand this. I thought each Y was a level. Yet on my TV I say 4 Y's but MB3

the ISU lists “Street dance rhythms” (such as hip hop, disco, swing, krump, popping, funk, etc.), jazz, reggae (reggaeton) and blues.

I guess Elton John kinda fits in there somewhere. I don't think KISS does though.

Personally, I'd love a feed without commentary, but I know the whole point of the ISU putting their stuff on YT is to bring skating to people who aren't crazy fans and hopefully turn them into crazy skating fans like us and make the sport more popular. I suppose they need a commentator for them.
But, bring back Mark please?

Reminder that ISU’s definition of “street dance” is broad and other rhythms beyond that vague definition are accepted…
