Stunning program. šŸ˜ I find a new choreographic detail everytime I watch it. Too bad about the error on the loop.

I need face or expression in the footwork, please. Such a disconnect between the music.
3Lz1Eu3S lovely!

This was worthy of the final group at Worlds! :respec: So much stronger than everyone else here.

I'm a sucker for an Evita program with a million music cuts and this one does it for me. The only part that doesn't work for me is the footwork to perky Madonna.

Maybe it's the influence of Chris' relentless positivity, but I think I enjoyed the top 10 here more than most of what I saw on the senior Grand Prix. More entertaining programs and they all didn't look the same. Same with the men.

I'm not sure what it means, other than this was a fun event!*

*Other than Kawabe's score.

Lots of good skates and good programs in the last group.

Seeing Mie Hamada with everyone really disturbs me given the allegations against her.

I realize those two sentences seem incompatible, but those are my main thoughts right now.

Hi Patrick Chan! :) (He and Nathalie Pechalat are 2 of the "Athlete Role Models" for Lausanne 2020).

The actual medals will be awarded in a separate ceremony later (like in the regular Olympics).

You :cheer: Fabulous skate, I almost wish she'd saved this for Worlds. Little nitpicking - if only she had sold that footwork a bit more + the shimmies were kinda half-hearted.

Russian Junior Nats are going to have me :drama: in every category.

Panova really does package her skaters well. And then she slaps her upside the head for the mistake.
Panova was not being mean. She usually does it to her as a "wake up call" because Sinitsina, when not happy with her skate, can throw a hissey fit.. like the one she did at Volvo Cup, after SP, when she did not want to go to Kiss-n-Cry and asst. coach had to pull her..

Congratulations to the medalists! It's great to see Young bring in a title at a big Junior event. She had bad timing with her growth spurt on the JGP last year and has come a long way in the past two seasons. Not the best we have seen Sinitsina this year, but you get one chance at a Youth Olympic medal and it's nice to see her quite happy with this one.

I think Kawabe has really odd landings in general, often wild or tilted; but much better here than at Nationals and on the JGP. This was a good event for her.

Also agree that Tornaghi is having a good season, and this is the best I have seen Shinn skate in an international competition by some way. Good for her as, if I remember correctly, she was injured this summer & possibly until midway through the JGP this year?
