I'm really glad he is going there to get another shot at the minimums. In the 4CC thread, it sounded like there was no money to do so, but I guess they must have found some somewhere. He deserves to be in Montreal!

Really surprised and glad for this last minute competition for Donovan!

After 4CC it was mentioned in a press release from Mexico's Sports Officials that his season ended there

But I think that given the decent level and form he is right now and how close he was to the technical mark they decided to support him and somehow found money to send him to this competition.

I hope he gets the FS minimum mark!

Speaking of skaters looking for minimums, I just realized that Gamez and Paradis are missing the minimums by 0.06 in the SP. Like Carrillo, they appeared to have the min at 4CC until review dropped the score down. Glad to see they are on the list here.
