So for Cdn gals: CC = Schizas 60.32 TS 32.68 TES
CC = Bausback 58.26 TS 31.50 TES
4CC = Pineault 57.09 TS 30.79 TES

Schizas and Bausback scores are also the highest international SP scores of any of the ladies in contention for the world team (although lower than Pineault and Schizas’s scores at Canadians). That said, the judging at 4CCs would be tighter than Challenge Cup.

While I#m trying to watch Fentz' Free, I'm quite surprised by the turnout. Definitely more people watching than in Oberstdorf.

Congrats to Emily and Madeline on their minimums!

I'm also pleased to see Sierra really rewarded in PCS despite this being her international debut. Often judges hold back for skaters they aren't familiar with.

Donovan

3axel fall :(
3lutz/3toe ok
3axel, ur and fall and Worlds quest is over I fear
3lutz step out
3loop clean
3flip a bit tight landing
2axel a bit tilted

The axel jump betrayed him today, sadly. Nice from our skating federation (I think they did) to trust him and send to compete at a last call to have a shot at worlds. Hope they give enough support and funding coming next season that will be so important for Donovan looking to have a shot at the Olympic spot. Now it's the time for him to start make a move and the technical content improvement is a good sign.

Shoma messed up first quad toe (no fall) and only did two combos. Other than that, it was great. Please do that at worlds, except with a third combo. They need to keep three spots and I don't trust Keiji as a safety net.

Score 198.7

Alexandra & Nicolas are always so sweet to each other at the end of their skate, no matter how craptacular the skate was.

I missed the beginning of B/T's SP here, did they land the sbs jumps? The lift was :yikes: , but what I saw of the rest was not bad.

From what I can tell, at Challenge Cup (only looking at Worlds for now)

Emily Bausback- got SP min, now has both
Kristina Isaev- got SP min, now has both
Danilova/Tsiba- got SP min, now has both
Adrien Tesson- got SP and FS min, now has both (obviously)

Sierra Venetta- got SP min, needs FS (hopefully tomorrow)
Madeline Schizas- got SP min, needs FS (hopefully tomorrow)

Jonathan Hess and Donovan Carrillo again achieved SP min but missed FS min
Philip Warren again achieved FS min but still missing SP min

apart from the fall, she really put in all effort and came up with a very nice program. This should definitively give her the mins and I'll be so happy if I get to see her at worlds
