I'm VERY impressed with Lucas Broussard who's currently leading with 54.59 (2A step, 3S+3T & 3Lz landing bit tight) and paid attention to his choreography. Here's what I posted about him in the U.S. Men's thread earlier this month:
Lucas Broussard has been added to USFS' International Selection Pool. He was 12 when he won the 2019 U.S. Juvenile Boys national title (he must have turned 13 before July 1 in order to be eligible for the ISP) and has the top Intermediate Men's score (136.35) in NQS competitions this summer. He won the Novice Men's event at the Sherwood Invitational club competition in Oregon last month with a total score of 161.66. He is coached by Darin Hosier and Corrie Martin in the Seattle area.

It's so trippy to see so many children of ex-Soviet and Russian legends skating in these US competitions! My love for M & D is well-documented on these boards, so I'm really excited to see Natalia's daughter doing well.

I really enjoy Joseph Klein's skating! :)

Like in his Lake Placid JGP, he landed 3Lo, 3T+3T, cool transitions in and out of 2A.
65.53.

Keegan Murphy, who coaches him in Vancouver BC, is here with his mom/coach.

There's currently a delay as Joseph Kang's nosebleed (he's in 6th) necessitates that the ice be cleaned before the next skater.

ETA:

Last 2 men had another warm up after the ice make.

Good competition! SP protocols: https://www.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2019/28864/SEGM013.html
Top 6:

Whoops, didn't realize Junior Men's FS started early (Endo just finished his POTO program; 2nd group about to warm up): https://www.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2019/28864/CAT007SEG014.html

#5 Joseph Kang's 4th place FS (108.49) starts at the 32 minute mark and is followed by Goku Endo's 6th place (103.21) FS.
#7 Liam Kapeikis's 5th place FS (108.16) starts at 49:00 & he was credited with landing 6 triples.
#9 Joseph Klein's 7th place FS (99.95) starts at 1:03. He added 3Lz (fell out) for the first time in competition; Damon Allen (who I assume coaches Klein when he visits CO Springs) was with him here.
#10 Matthew Nielsen's winning FS (118.32) starts at 1:09. He landed 7 triples, 6 cleanly, including 3Lz+3T.
#11 Lucas Altieri's 2nd place FS (116.53) starts at 1:15. He landed two 3Lz & 3S+half loop+3S combo in 2nd half.
The final skater, Maxim Naumov, starts at 1:21; he fell on both 3A attempts at the beginning he skated well after that.

Me! I used to skate with Philip and his mom. Both great people!

We both quit SCOB, so I haven't seen them in awhile.
