I mostly guessed because I don't follow pairs much but did see some of the GP competitions and final results. Wish I could have voted for a US team.

After NHK Trophy, the top 3 teams are:

Kristina ASTAKHOVA / Alexei ROGONOV RUS 11 (199.11) + 11 (203.64) = 22 (402.75)

Competing in France next week:
Evgenia TARASOVA / Vladimir MOROZOV RUS 15 (224.25)
Vanessa JAMES / Morgan CIPRES FRA 11 (214.37)
Nicole DELLA MONICA / Matteo GUARISE ITA 9 (190.25)

Sui/Han, Stolova/Klimov in for sure.

Tarasova/Morozov in with a top 4 finish at French GP. So they're in.

Duhamel/Radford in with a top 4 finish at Skate America. Same situation.

James/Cipres most likely need to be 2nd this week and then win a tie-breaker of versus the team that finishes 3rd at Skate America IF it is Savchenko/Massot or Yu/Zhang. Right now, they have a little bit of a cushion over the Chinese team so they are probably praying for a Duhamel/Radford Savchenko/Massot 1-2 in either order in America. If Yu/Zhang finish 1st or 2nd, then things could get more complicated.

Savchenko/Massot just need to likely be on the podium at Skate America and not completely melt down.

Stranger things can happen, such as Moore-Towers Marinaro or Zabiiako/Enbert winning Skate America- but those are extremely unlikely with the field that is scheduled.

So my guess is Sui/Han, Tarasova/Morozov, Duhamel/Radford, Savchenko/Massot, Stolbova/Klimov, and I'll guess James/Cipres come away with silver this weekend and beat out Yu/Zhang for the final spot on a total score tiebreak.
