that is SOOO alex's style AHHHHH theyre both such amazing dancers and can rock any genre :saint::saint::saint: also is it just me, but i also feel like this program + their waves/when you dream program has quite a bit of recycled sequences from past programs?? so they must be strictly for show purposes?

I think both of those programs seem self-choreographed. Not a bad thing, but it’s obvious a new choreographer hasn’t worked on it. I do love the Daft Punk number already though. I’m sad I won’t be able to see it in person this year.

It looks to me that Alex may have choreographed them - Maia seems somewhat tentative on a lot of the moves, whereas Alex looks more fully committed. They don't look nearly as speedy as I expected, which could also reflect this as a new program that is still settling. That Daft Punk number didn't (musically or choreographically) have much dynamic range. Kind of snoozy, imo. (Love the Shibs, but not in love with this particular piece.)

Disagree.

The first pic is actually Yuka Sato, but I love it.

 Great catch. I wasn't exactly sure that was Maia, but I couldn't tell for sure. And I did wonder because Maia isn't a pairs skater. :p Cool, and very cool that Jeremy and Yuka have skated together in exhibition! :cheer2:

Taking another look, Jere and Yuka appear to be doing a Blues Bros number! Where's a link to the full performance?

It looks like it was a show called "Always Dream" in Hawaii??

Maia may not be a pair skater but I think it'd be very easy for her or Alex to learn to do a death spiral. (And I'd bet she knows how to do one already.) Way back when she was still competing I remember an interview with Tanith and Ben where Tanith said that was her favorite element.
Ice dancers already do pair spins better than many pair skaters. :)

It was Kristi's Golden Moment Hawaii show in 2015 - I've posted 2 video links in Jeremy's fan thread: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/threads/jeremy-abbott-uber-thread.81547/page-28#post-5575463

Maia & Alex appeared on ABC7 Southwest Florida's morning news yesterday to chat about tonight's show in Fort Myers - video here: https://www.facebook.com/ABC7Southw...1685878849399/376636592934712/?type=3&theater

SAPPORO! - Stars on Ice Ep. 4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdIyzKLr240
After 3 shows in Osaka, we flew to Sapporo for 3 more shows. It was snowing…in April! While it was cold, we had so much fun performing for the fans and had a chance to celebrate Stéphane’s birthday and have a nice cast dinner.

After our sushi dinner, we went bowling… but that’ll be in the next video. Stay tuned for Episode 5!
