Elena Glebova? She is coaching at the moment and at one point was (maybe still is?) a manager at an ice rink in Tallinn.

Weinzierl is still skating and competing.

Anyone know the whereabouts of the following OES legends. (P.S. I'd appreciate if the spelling police don't lambaste me for these attempts  )
OMG, you are awesome

Toth - Why is she not coached by Sebesteyen this year?
Legend?

Is Glebova done?
She is pretty much done since 2014.
Coaching now and rocking knc. Has with Vahi a promising girl.

Nathalie Weinzierl?
Is still reigning national champion. But seems to be outskated clearly by Schott for the olympic spot and has to fear for the 2nd euros spot be taken by Dastich.
SP this season. FS this season.

If I were Galustyan, I'd keep training just in case Aiza Mambekova isn't fit to compete this season and Kazakhstan doesn't have a second senior woman with the Olympic minimums.

When is the deadline for notification if a country will give up a spot?

Something seems really off with Kuchvalska this season. I’m assuming injury given she looks really out of shape and wasn’t landing any triples this fall, but maybe she just doesn’t want to skate anymore or she’s in college and doesn’t have time to practice or something. Too bad for her but hopefully she will continue to compete in coming years. Her jumps were really good a few years ago when she was healthy and competing a lot.

Denis Vasiljevs and Diana Nikitina have been chosen by fed for olympic games:
http://sportacentrs.com/ziemas_sports/slidosana/11122017-vasiljevs_un_nikitina_tiek_latvijas_izlas
Team has still to be confirmed by LAT NOK, until then, Kuchvalska remains as sub.

Nikitna won nationals with 183,04pts
Kuchvalska did not skate :(

Thanks for the article links, @Jeschke - link to Latvian Nationals results/protocols (Dec. 2-3, 2017): http://slidas.sauc.lv/proto/2017.12.lc/

ETA: I didn't start a separate thread for Latvian Nationals in the Kiss & Cry section but I have for Danish Nationals that took place the same weekend (thread includes results & video links).

Recap article/photos (in Danish): http://www.danskate.dk/nyheder/rekordernes-dm/

Senior ladies champ Pernille Sorensen earned the Euros FS minimum she needed at Santa Claus Cup in Budapest this past week.

I was just reading an interview with Lana Petranovic in Russia Beyond and apparently she and Souz Kordeir are planning to compete at European Championships in January in Moscow.
They did not compete all season,or?

Nationals update.

Algotsson sits in 6th place after SP with 42pts
What the hell is going on here? She is securing the spot, Joshi retiring and in the end Östlund is going to Korea? :drama:
How are the rules here?
@SmallFairy speak!

Czech Ko (who placed 16th at her jgp this season) is leading Lil'Sis, Queen U and Hanzlikova.
Fruszi is leading Toth.
@alchemy void might enjoy the tension here.

@Jeschke my coach (she's Swedish) and I spoke about it this morning, she was excited for Nationals, and wondered if Matilda or Anita would go to Korea. I said "but Anita competed in junior all year?" But my coach was sure it was between those two. Now Matilda is ten point behind  Anita has the difficulty, even more than Matilda. Will try to find out more about the selection:sekret:
