Other than the prestige of showcasing national talent, is holding US Nationals actually relevant any more?
Perhaps there needs to be an event created specifically for world team selection instead.
Such a good idea. I've always thought that Four Continents covered too big an area for skaters to attend. It really should be two or three separate competitions.
If it did happen, here's hoping the skaters are able to contain themselves a little better than the tennis players currently in...
I don't understand why this international event was allowed to run in the first place. Victorians have sacrificed so much to eliminate the *****.
Apparently, the State Government and Tennis Australia feared that if another city outside Australia offered to host, that they would try to take...
If it's any consolation, one day in the space of 24 hours I was called Sir, Buddy, Captain, Master, Mister, Sister, and Bitch.

I remember watching Kaetlyn run through her free skate in the practice rink on a late night session at the 2014 World Championships in Saitama. No audience. No other athletes on the ice.
Osmond absolutely sold her...
Being in total isolation is impossible at any event.
In Australia, a driver shuttling international flight crew contracted the ***** and helped start a new wave (yet to be controlled) in Sydney.
Meanwhile, cricket players from overseas were complaining that they had to stay in hotel lockdown...
Such a shame. The Canadian Championships are always such fun to watch.
I'm glad to see, however, the athletes' and their support crews' health being put first.
