I think Reynolds has very much improved in the last couple of years, but his skating is just nowhere close to Patrick's IMO. Good for Reynolds for the peformance, though rotation was iffy on a few jumps.

Kevin had great difficulty in his skate but his jumps seemed smaller so even though his technical content was higher than Patrick's, Chan had it all over Kevin in PCS. When I watch Kevin, I feel like I am watching a technican on ice; when I watch Patrick I feel as though I am watching artistry on ice in addition to his technical abilities.

Kudos to Kevin for landing 3 quads in his free. Now if only I could enjoy if free as much as I enjoy his short. Not sure what it is about his free but I don't feel like there is as much connection between he and his music in the free whereas it seems like there is one in his short.

I think if both were skated the way same way at Worlds Chan would finish 3rd or 4th and Reynolds about 7th. So Chan would come out ahead there as well. Thus the result was probably correct.
