Most of us on here know Theo Fleury from his days in the NHL, mostly, as a Member of the Calgary Flames and when he took part in Season Two of Battle of the Blades. He has a far more serious title and one he wishes he never had however. That of Child Sexual Abuse Survivor.

When he played Jr Hockey w/the Swift Current Broncos, the then Head Coach of the Team Graham James used his power behind the bench to molest the boys he was supposed to protect. Theo and his team mate Sheldon Kennedy are the two more well known of his victims to come forward and have done everything in their power to try and nail this piece of you know what, but w/the laws being what they are...Well, we've all heard it before sadly.

Theo decided he could do more to bring change and pressure to those in charge of Governing this Country of ours and created The Victor Movement.

Also on May 23rd, The Victor Walk will take place in Ottawa and end at the steps of Parliament Hill. Once there, Theo is inviting Abuse Survivors, himself included, to read their Victim Impact Statements in the hope they're finally heard by those who are supposed to work on our behalf and a better Canada.

If you're unable to be in Ottawa and would like to help out Theo and The Victor Movement, he just released a song on iTunes called Walk With Thousands and a video for it is also up over at YouTube.

If you liked what you heard after watching the video, then please consider buying it at iTunes. All money goes to the three organizations The Victor Movement supports.

Just trying to spread the word w/this thread, as they can use every little bit of help that they can.
