Sylvia Prepping for club comp. season!

Here's a thread in which recent videos can be posted for some of the talented young singles skaters and pairs/dance teams who may be debuting on the Junior Grand Prix in the upcoming season.

These 3 girls will be old enough to debut on the JGP this fall, if selected by Russia (re-posting from the 2012-13 Nationals - Other sub-forum in Kiss and Cry):

The top 3 ladies at the Russian Championships for singles skaters "born in 1996 and younger" (April 1-4, 2013):

    Evgenia Medvedeva placed 1st overall (188.94). Her 3rd place SP (60.28): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VOweXUledE
    Medvedeva's 1st place FS (128.66): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vPZc8nqAHc

Maria Sotskova won the SP (66.14): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW92WN4fBa8
    Sotskova's 2nd place FS (122.11): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXNH46FUXfE
    Sotskova placed 2nd overall (186.25).

Natalia Ogoreltseva placed 2nd in the SP (62.44): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jr3SYi77RAs
She was 5th in FS and placed 3rd overall.

Alexandra Proklova (RUS), age 13, won Crystal Skate (Baltic States international competition) for Advanced Novices in Moscow in late April with a total score of 167.01.

2013 US Junior champion Polina Edmunds turned 15 in May and debuted a new Junior FS at Gardena Spring Trophy in early April to Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite - the 2 pieces are "Solveig's Song" and "Morning Mood": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqJKpEQwWOs

2013 US Junior silver medalist Mariah Bell turned 17 in April - her December 2012 exhibition performance of her "I'm A Doun" SP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=031n_3KiPBE

Advanced Novice Girls Final at Gardena Spring Trophy:
    1 Karen Chen USA 131.24 1 1 (89.94 FS, landed 5 triples including 2A+3T & 2 3Lutzes) - her FS video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miV5tUkVI0w
Her 13th birthday was last August.

Junior Men's Final at Gardena Spring Trophy:
    1 Jordan Moeller USA 195.67 1 1 (132.05 FS, landed 7 triples) - his FS video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S64RLerwk5k He turned 18 in April.

Japan may not have the extra spots for new faces to make their JGP debut this season, but here are the 2013 World Team Trophy Gala exhibition performances of the 2 JGP age-eligible 2012-13 Novice A singles champions who both include 5 different triples in competition:
Kaori Sakamoto (she showed good spring into her 3T in her 2A+3T combination)
Sota Yamamoto (he does 3S+3T in this program as well as in competition)

At 2013 Triglav Trophy, Yamamoto won the Advanced Novice Boys' gold, while Sakamoto won the Adv. Novice Girls' silver (behind Novice B Ladies' champ Marin Honda, who reportedly won't be old enough to compete on the JGP until the 2014-15(?) season).

Are there any Canadians you're particularly watching out for?

    Thanks, Sylvia! :)

Bumping to add the video of Karen Chen's new SP. I'm glad she's decided to go for the 3T at the end of the combo rather than the 3Lo. Her jumps are looking much bigger already.

Also, looking at the videos in the first post, I'm very impressed at how late in the program Evgenia Medvedeeva does her 3S+3T, and with good height! Also, very impressed at Maria Sotskova doing 3 different clean triple-triples in one competition (3Lz+3T, 3F+3T and 3S+3T).
