Adam West, television's original Batman passed away after a short battle with Leukemia. He was 88. RIP

The show was campy good fun. I wanted to look like Julie Newmar when I grew up. Sadly it didn't happen. Maybe in my next life.

I don't usually like superhero movies but I liked Adam West's show. Each week I wanted to see what famous person would be a guest. I loved Burgess Meredith as the Penguin & Frank Gorshim as the Riddler. (I hope I'm remembering them correctly.)

Loved that silly show and the movies. Favorite moments? Batman fending off a clearly rubber shark, and Batman ordering orange juice at a bar and then dancing funkily.

I always thought Batman was annoying and cheesy, but I loved him playing himself on Family Guy. Rest in peace, sir.
