Florence, a city of art and history. The best context possible to enjoy an event that has a lot to do with one and the other.
For the first time in this city you could attend an ice skating show organized by a company, the Skate Power, which has often been involved in skating events but on wheelchairs. This is why the cast included "heavy" names in this sport: Marco Santucci (5 times World Gold), Danilo Decembrini (4 times Worldwide in Couples), PierLuca Tocco, Mònica Gimeno Coma, Silvia Nemesio, Caterina Alles, Enrico Sansone, Daniel Arriola.
A special mention goes to these samples which, after a few hours of ice, have been able to perform with naturalness. They deserve to have created a great party at various times of the show. Unforgettable is Pierluca Tocco's fun performance with Ondrej Hotarek, on Rocky's music.

But let's return to the strong plate of the evening, guessed by the name of the show: Plushenko. That was enough to do almost all out of the Mandela Forum. Evgeni had received a few days before the Keys of the City of Florence at an official ceremony (the-keys-of-the-city-of-firenze).
In the afternoon he came to the test, headed by Lorenzo Magri, rode the usual at full speed on the track and testing his program on the notes of Great Love. Seeing him skating closely and watching the intensity he can express just touching the ice is always a huge emotion. A unique gift! Everything stops and creates an incredible atmosphere.
Try also on the touching melody of Earthquake, a soundtrack of a similar film about the victims of the 1988 earthquake in Armenia (a show already seen in Armenia's own show: kings-on-ice-armenia).
It only tends to test just a couple of jumps, probably complicating the ice conditions that are not optimal.

In the evening, the Mandela Forum fills in and most of the attendees are about to attend, for the first time, a live ice show. We are curious to see the audience's reaction.
The dances are finally opened. She presents Fabio Signorini together with the good and beautiful Claudia Calefato, already known in cinema and television. The show is an alternating moments of great fun at moments of great skating.
In the cast the spectacular Marchei / Hotarek, the Italian promise Daniel Grassl, who received enormous consents for his skill and sympathy, Jari Kessler, the good Roberta Rodighiero, the always wonderful and humorous Cappellini / Lanotte. Great regret for Sotnikova forced absence due to an ankle problem, replaced by the last one by "Lady 3A" Tuktamysheva, a pleasure for the eyes. Ivan Righini sparkling like never before, true showman, trouble-free triple shutter.

But the moment is reached with the entrance to the ice first of Savchenko / Massot, pure poetry and excellent level, despite the absence of jumps in parallel, deserving of a spontaneous standing ovation, and then of the Tsar.
Not to say, Signorini has to stop the presentation of the Russian because his voice is overwhelmed by public cries ... You can say what you want on Plushenko, but the fact is that when he gets on the track, "come down The stairs ". Evgeni is simply magnetic. He could just walk on the ice instead of skating to get approval.
First on two full-pathos music - Grande Amore and Earthquake, devoted to the victims of the recent earthquake in central Italy - and ultimately in an Encore on Storm's notes that makes us a plush and energetic Plushenko capable of delusions Ice palaces. And of course hell heats up ...
We were curious to see the reaction of an audience unkempt to live skate and the answer is a simple confirmation. After all three shows of the Zar is standing ovation, delirium. No matter what music or programs Evgeni plays, the result is the same.
And you can not say it's just for its jumps as it has delighted "only" with a 2A, three 3T and a 2T.
Like or not, the emotions that the artist Plushenko gives, are not replicable by anyone and who organizes events knows it well.
