If you would please go to http://livepositively.com/#/americasparks/vote and enter Minot, ND . . . . Oak Park will come up.

Voting for Oak Park could help Minot rebuilt this park destroyed by Souris River flooding in June. Water is still high and 11,000 residents of Minot were evacuated. Most will probably spend the winter in FEMA trailers.

Winning first place and the $100,000 would be tremendous!

Voted. I live about 2 hours north east of Minot. My nephew (and a crew of young men from around here) just went down there to help out wherever they can.

Done! I live about 2 hours SE of Minot, and during the height of the flood, I just sat for hours watching the live news stream, in awe of Mother Nature. And honestly, a little thankful that for once, my community didn't have to deal with major flooding this year. It's been a bad year for ND for floods.

    Thank you all so much!

I'm not the only North Dakotan here . . . . cool! Not to slight Manitoba, of course.
