I just read ISU judging document today and came across an element that I never saw before . What is "pivot figure, PF"? Thanks!

Also noticed 4A on the jump list. Anybody is practicing it?

Sylvia Prepping for club comp. season!

I found Pivot Figure (PiF) listed under Death Spirals for Pairs in the latest Scale of Values document but am not sure what it is: http://www.usfsa.org/content/2012-13 S&P Scale of Values.pdf

Pairs - Pivot Figures and Death Spirals (see page 4): http://www.usfsa.org/content/USAid Pairs 2012-2013.pdf
It appears to be an easier (beginner) version of the death spiral at the lower levels.

Here's the link to the "Is it physically possible to land a clean quadruple axel in competition?" thread in the Trash Can: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/sho...to-land-a-clean-quadruple-axel-in-competition
