I was watching Aliona SAVCHENKO & Robin SZOLKOWY from 2013 Euros and they clearly have the most consistent throws of all the pairs at the moment. I was wondering apart from having a more difficult entry into the throw 3 flip in the Free skate, how could they get any better????

Which made me think, has any pair team ever been crazy enough to try a throw with 1 arm above there head?

Even though on the judges GOE dot points they don't list "varied air position" as one of the options to give positive GOE like they do for singles.

I am assuming though that no pair has considering most have enough trouble with throws without making it more difficult. Do you think any pairs will ever try it?

Although I bet Aliona SAVCHENKO & Robin SZOLKOWY could do it.
