Just saw Johnny Weir - all dressed in white fur.
I tried watching on NBC and it was mainly all the performances. CBS had the parade itself. Turned on Chicago's parade and got treated to Santa dancing to Twist & Shout on State Street a la Ferris Bueller. Classic!
We don't get NBC anymore. I'm quite sad to miss the parade.
My kids told me earlier Johnny was going to be in the parade, and I said, I'm sure he'll be all done up in fur. He looked like he was enjoying himself.
Does anyone know the name of the acapella group who sang This Christmas?
I know Straight No Chaser was in the parade, was it them?
Yes. They were the musical act at one of the Disson Shows last year.
Johnny was wearing white fur and sitting on top of a unicorn.
So, in other words, typical Johnny?
I like the balloons and the bands, could easily do without the tramped up Disney singers on the Build A Bear float or the ones who lip sync without a microphone (I'm looking at you, country singer).
Oh pluueezzee tell me there is a clip of this out there somewhere!
Yes, there is a skategod!
He looks like he's having a blast.
A rocking horse but okay....
I didn't see the rocking part on TV - I looked up when they said "Here's Johnny Weir" and saw him and the animal head - I saw one white 'horn' on top and thought it was a unicorn. Looking at it again, I see that there is a second ear.
