Now that Worlds is over, I need something to look forward to. Here's how the GP series is looking-

Seeded, guar. 2, poss. 3: Kostner, Leonova, Suzuki, Wagner, Murakami, Asada

Places 7-12 at Worlds, guaranteed 2: Kexin Zhang, Valentina Marchei, Ksenia Makarova, Elene Gedevanishvili, Viktoria Helgesson, Yretha Silete

Top 24 SB (currently), guar. 1: Lipnitskaia*, Tuktamysheva, Sotnikova, Czisny, Zhang, Nagasu, Gold*, Korpi, Biryukova, Korobeynikova, Shelepen*, Miyahara*, Shoji*, Zijun Li*

*= junior, would need to move up to seniors internationally

Top 24 World Rankings who aren't listed above (currently, may change), guar. 1: Miki Ando?, Yuna Kim?, Haruka Imai, Rachael Flatt, Cynthia Phaneuf, Mae Berenice Meite, Joshi Helgesson, Sarah Hecken

Funny enough, Zawadzki is 25th on both lists right now  Actually, from 25-30 is Zawadzki, Lam, Cesario, Gao, and Hicks, with Imai in between. US ladies got it covered when it comes to the alternate spots!! :)

I'd be shocked if Lipnitskaia, Tuktamysheva & Sotnikova don't get 2.

Maybe the US will leave 2 TBA's at Skate America so that Gold can definitely get two assignments, and ditto for Zhang/Nagasu depending on which of them does better in the summer competitions.

Please give Gold two assignments for next season. Whatever happens she needs the experience. I see next season as a learning experience for her so it might be a bit bumpy. Then watch the haters come out in force.

With no Canadian women on the Season's Best list, does that mean that there will be only one Canadian woman (host pick) at Skate Canada? Or can Cynthia, ranking 20th in the world get a regular invite to make 2 women?

Skate Canada gets three spots at the event as hosts.

Cynthia is in the top 24 on the World Ranking list and is entitled to a GP invitation for that. The second event could be Skate Canada.

Amelie could still get an invitation. She is #35 on the SB list. But she won't get any guarantee.
