to compete next season, which makes his fans happy, doesn't it?
Oh, YAY!, that's GREAT news for us Koffeholics!
This means that he will likely get spots that Schultheiss earned. Because not only could he beat Majorov but he is actually Swedish Champ!!!
Schultheiss + Berntsson = dream team.
Although they both gotta watch Majorov. If he's gonna start landing 3axels next season (he can already rotate it so he might get it by then), he's going to become a threat.
Schultheiss earned two at Worlds by ending in 9th as the lone SWE entry, but Schultheiss and Bertnsson earned two at Euros (12th and 15th).
Schultheiss is guaranteed two GP berths next season. Majorov is ranked 24th and Berntsson 36th, while Berntsson's SB is 43rd (Euros) and Majorov's 52nd (Jr. Worlds).
Yes, I was so hoping for this. I want to see Berntsson go out big at Worlds. SWE dream team!!!
I can't wait to see his programs, if he makes new ones! I loved them last season too!
So happy for him! I relly like his personality and his skating is always fun to watch. Good luck Kris!
Swedish guys' programs are a breath of fresh air. So creative and quirky!
This is fabulous news! Can't wait to see his new programs!
Swedish skaters´s programs are so original
Whee! I just love the voidy Swedish goys!
Agreed!!! I absolutely, totally adore these two, such incredibly original individuals, both of them. I mean, seriously, no other country has such interesting men singles. France, maybe, but not as much. Sweden, you rock
I'm really happy for Kris, missed him at Olympics and Worlds this year. Cannot wait to see what both him and Adrian bring on next season
Good, very good news, his programs are always so interesting and his basics are beautiful !
Kristoffer Berntsson: No retirement for me yet.
and some interesting things
Wow that means swedish Nationals will be soo interersting!!!
The 3 of them Berntsson ,Schultheis and Majorov have very individual different style.I saw on you tube that Majorov lands 3 a clean now.I wish the swe guys had 3 spots instaed of 2 !!!
Thank you for the link.
He was such a shy young guy when I first saw him in 2001 euroes in Bratislava. An now he is an entertainer. It tells a lot about the magic of figure skating.
Heja, Koffe! One more season, fint!
Thankfully he is staying around. We need Swedish voids.
Great news! Looking forward to see Kris this season.
Natalia, is it you who did the interview for AS?
His charisma on the ice has improved noticeably since his early years!!!!
Good looking lad, he is really a charming one. I remember walking the streets of Gothenburg back in 2008 with some fellow FSU-ers, and we saw him taking a walk with his girlfriend, they looked so down-to-earth and normal, no unnecessary fluff. Also, Worlds in Gothenburg is one of my dearest memories from skating competitions I attended. The human wave was indeed incredible.
I'm glad he is staying, I enjoyed the interview. And the photos look fab!
I was looking at his old Robot program and for his last season he should really bring that back for exhibition. He said he got two new programs. He was the first to do a triple axel-good for him. Does that make Schultheiss first to do a quad?
Yes, Adrian is the first Swedish skater with quad.
I heard there are more swe skaters landing quads but Adrian is the first landing it in a comp.
