Can someone please explain how countries get their spots for JGP and which countries have what spots for next season. I know it is based on this past years results, but not sure how it works. Could you list them by disciple.

sadie, the rules for assigning JGP spots will not be announced until the 2011-12 JGP announcement is released by the ISU. There are rumors that the procedure may change.

You can take a look at the 2010-11 JGP announcement to get an idea of the existing rules. This document contains all of the rules relating to JGP spots.

JGP spots have been based upon a nation's finish at the Jr. World Championships. See Section 2 (Entries) of the 2010-11 JGP Announcement for how the spots are assigned.

It's based on Junior Worlds results.

The exact criteria for next season hasn't been published yet.
