Japanese Skating Boots

    does anyone know if there are good japanese skating boots comparable, with Graf, Harlick, Jackson, Riedell etc:confused:

    I don't think there are any Japanese skating boot manufacturers.

    I think they may make some figure skating boots, but nothing high-end.
    Here's the top model I found on an online skate shop that wasn't a Graf or other recognized foreign brand: http://item.rakuten.co.jp/kosugi-skate/0105f3a/
    There is no manufacturer name listed; it just says "our boots", which makes me think it might be the Kosugi brand (same brand as the online store). It says this model is for skaters doing double jumps.

    Actually, I think this is a manufacturer:http://www.esc-sss.co.jp/index.html
    They are headquartered in Nagano and called ESC SSS Skate Co (in Japanese, ESC SSS is pronounced "ESK-san-essu").
    They don't seem to sell any really high end figure skates. The only decent blade they are selling is the Wilson Coronation Ace.

    Everyone in Japan skates in the only two brands available: Risport and Graf. 90% of people choose Risport.
