Also, on a sadder note, from "OES News 2016-2017"

Netta Schreiber has announced her retirement on instagram. She has been suffering from injuries and thought it best to complete her competitive career.
https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/index.php?threads/oes-news-2016-2017.99279/page-5#post-4976765

Her announcement on Instagram:
Hi all, I just wanted to thank everyone who contributed to my career for their unconditional love and support. Unfortunately, after battling an ongoing injury, my family, doctor, and I decided it would be best to put my career to rest. I am so honoured to have been on the jr and sr world circuit, and will forever remember this incredible journey I endeavoured. Not only did skating physically affect me, but it mentally prepared me for challenges I will face further in life. Now, let's move on to bigger and better things. Love you all❤

Israeli Olympic Committee's member, Yael Arad, visited Israeli team in New Jersey:

On the group photo from right to left:

2017 Cup of Tyrol results this past weekend:
Silver - Oleksii BYCHENKO ISR 231.74 4 2
Bronze - Daniel SAMOHIN ISR 220.18 6 3

Bychenko is confirmed for Worlds, correct? Samohin will compete at Junior Worlds again.

Team Israel for Junior Worlds:
Men (2): Mark GORODNITSKY, Daniel SAMOHIN
Ladies: Paige CONNERS
Pairs: Hailey Esther KOPS / Artem TSOGLIN
Dance: Shira ICHILOV / Vadim DAVIDOVICH

Israel hosted an international competition, Feb. 23-25, 2017 in Eilat, called the Open Ice Mall Cup: http://www.isu.org/en/single-and-pa...ndar-of-events/2017/02/open-ice-mall-cup-2017

I have never heard of Kops/Tsoglin. Does it mean that Chernivskaya/Krasnopolski are done?

ETA: ups, just noticed, that's for junior worlds, so naturally Chernivskaya/Krasnopolski are not age eligible any more.

So it is possible to have a real result page for a competition in Israel! Maybe someone should tell the IISF.

Tsoglin is the last of the Metula-trained skaters. I think Shira Ichilov is an actual Israeli, too. I hope some of the local kids can follow in their footsteps.

Anyone know why Cherniavskaya/Krasnopolski weren't sent to Worlds? They competed at Euros and several Senior Bs this year. Just wondering.

I think this is the first time I have ever seen competition results for skaters representing Cyprus.

 I wonder who has more, Morozov and Ex wives or Krasnopolski and ex partners? It's still kind of annoying the "what if?" With him and Davidovich. Had they stuck it out I think Israel would have a really strong team right now.

According to their FB page Tobias/Tkachenko moved to Zoueva.
https://www.facebook.com/tobiastkachenko/?fref=ts

We would like to announce that our new coaching team is Marina Zoueva, Oleg Epstein, Massimo Scali and Johnny Johns.
We cherish our years with Igor and Adrienne and will forever be grateful to them. We discussed with them that we wanted to make a change and give our skating a renewed and energized start leading into the next season.
We now look forward to our time with Marina and her team at the Arctic Edge of Canton.
Thank you very much for your continued support. We are very excited to begin training for the Olympic season!

Well, finally she has again the classical Russian (or partially Russian) couple with blue eyes.

 I can already imagine her pushing all the "exciting" romantic Marina-esque ideas of strong leading male protecting his beautiful romantic lady that she's been really wanting to do but can't with the Shibs and with Sinitsina/Katsalapov gone on to Tobias/Tkachenko.

I wish she had worked with them on their choreo this season because oh-what-might-have-been with the Nutcracker. But they had a very successful year. I'm surprised to hear about the switch. Am I correct that Isabella has been with Igor since 2012?
