Israel celebrates 65th year of its existence.
65 Years of Achievement, Mazal Tov!
Israel national anthem is called Hatikvah/Hope.
I hope Israel will live forever, and will have peace with its neigbours.

!יום עצמאות שמח לכל עם ישראל

Recently one of my most hated holidays. Why do the stupid parties have to take place in the middle of the living neighbourhoods and last till 4am!?!??! What is wrong with the usual indoor clubs and why can't it be over earlier?!!??!

The amount of drunk idiots on the roads is impossible to count. I was harrased by drunk idiots several times while walking from the centre of town home. Yes, to learn the loudest party was under my window, allowed by the police and would last `oh, may be till 3 or 4, but if the guys are really into it till 5 or 6'. Awesome...

No way am I staying in Israel for the next year `celebrations'. They are nice abroad.

My street is quiet but close to a street party site. I went outside to watch the fireworks and briefly debated whether I wanted to contend with foam spraying kids; I decided I did not. So I'm fine with how the holiday went ;)
