I have these files that I want to burn to DVD, and then delete, but everytime I try to delete them, the computor tells me: "Cannot delete files: Access is denied. Make sure the disc is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use". Could it be the format, as I haven'e had problems deleting wmv files.

It sounds to me like you are keeping the burn list active after you've burned the CD. Make sure the files are not on any "to burn" list in any of your music programs because that will protect them from deletion.
