Countdown to Sochi is a weekly show capturing the most compelling stories, including athlete profiles, features and coverage of the winter sports competitions, leading up to the 2014 Sochi games. Premieres October 30, 2013 – Watch every Wednesday through February 5.

First show features an interview with Max Aaron. I'm guessing there will be videos available after the show has aired.

This looks like something that was taped last January after nationals....

Sylvia Prepping for club comp. season!

Aaron's interview was taped after Skate America -- he talks about his competition experience in Detroit and his upcoming GP (NHK Trophy), among other things.

This weeks episode included a short report about Cup of China. I give the announcers full credits for getting the names right. They didn't even sound as though they were struggling.

Tonight's new episode included a report on NHK. Also an interview with Lindsey Vonn. The other program that has regular figure skating reports is Podium 360. I wish any of the other "sports" networks had such a program.

11/20/13 episode includes a report on Trophee Eric Bompard. No other figure skating noted. Most of the program was centered on long track speed skating.
