I have to say Plushenko was better
In what way ? Yes, he was better with jumps in his tango competition programs and had overall better results with them. He also performed those tangos quite well at some occasions. But, in my opinion, Takahashi performs them even better (even with that disaster at the last year's worlds he managed to perform it until the very end without visibly loosing that tango mood). Plus, Takahashi's competitive tango was better choreographed. 'Tango Roxanne' has a less interesting choreo (imho), but Daisuke manages to sell it absolutely anyway.
Most likely not at all.
Here's a longer clip from the June 15 press conference that includes Morozov speaking in English to the Japanese media (aired as part of the Dreams on Ice TV broadcast): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbYA64chkwE
Takahashi skated a Tango program at Dreams on Ice -- I assume this is new? Video link is posted here: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?p=3610001#post3610001
Yes, a new exhibition number that he's been performing at a few recent shows besides DOI, choreographed by Kenji Miyamoto.
I hate the intimate parts, lol
To me that program looks like a reworking of Daisuke's 2010/2011 Astor Piazzolla tango LP, which was choreographed by Camerlengo. Miyamoto choreographed his 'The Crisis' exhibition program.
The Japanese commentator of the DOI 2012 video said that Daisuke's exibition number of Astor Piazzolla Tango was choreographed by Kenji Miyamoto.
Then, either the commentator was wrong, or they reworked this program together with Miyamoto.
Maybe you're being misled by the fact that this is the same music. It is an entirely different program and Dai himself said this is a Myamoto choreography.
Unless Daisuke is also wrong...
