I am so going to miss those daily beyond stunning photo Tweets of Chris'. I've seen more of this Wonderful World of ours in the last few months than I have in years. Not only that, but Chris made Science cool *and* entertaining!!

Not the easiest of things to do either.

And all at the same time as taking Leafs Nation into Space too!! :D The Parents were laughing at me earlier over my reaction to the Leafs winning and taking their Series to a Game 7 tomorrow night in Boston...

    YES!! GAME SEVEN BABY!!!

    *couple of seconds later*

Oh NO!!! Chris won't be able to even follow along w/the game because he'll be in the Capsule w/the rest of the Crew getting ready for Re Entry and Home!!!

Shows where my focus is right now, doesn't it? ;) :D

Here's to a problem free and safe ride home *and* landing tomorrow!! GodSpeed Cmdr Hadfield and Thank you!!

He is truly an inspirational figure- I imagine he has inspired a lot of kids in school to be interested in science and research.

I know this was in another thread, but it's still great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbCsH89rnKs

ITA! The good news, though, is that he took waaay more photos than the ones he posted from the ISS, and will continue to feed them to us. I'm following him on Facebook, I'm assuming it's the same on his Twitter feed.

(In case you can't guess, I too am a huge fan.)

According to what he posted on Facebook, he was having breakfast with the Prime Minister and his wife here in Ottawa this morning. He'll be back here on Canada Day (July 1st) and will reprise his song from the ISS with his earthbound singing partner - this time it will be on Parliament Hill.

I only go down to the Hill every few years for the Canada Day celebrations. This one might be worth seeing.
