I will do research online, but wanted to get some FSUers opinions. I've been tasked with finding a book for a few mid-level managers that are going to be given a mentor to help them prepare for the next level of their career. I need suggestions on career oriented books that cover the value of the mentoring relationship or something about taking one's career to the next level, etc.

    Any recommendations?

Some years ago "What Color is your Parachute?" was all the rage as the go-to career oriented book. Don't know if it has been replaced by another bestseller as of yet. Even so, it is probably worth checking out.

What kind of work do they do, and are they male or female?
