Big jumps can push Jonathan Cassar toward top of figure skating world

    I have to start this thread since I am a big fan of his skate! :D
    (Admin, please move it if it does not belong here).

    I have been cheering for him quite a while and I am so happy that
    his "one of its kind" skate gets more and more recognition these days.

    I have a few photos back from 2009 Nats (practice).

    Even at the practice, the beauty of his movement stands out. :)

    Does he have the big jumps consistently in run-throughs, and he just can't deliver them in competition? Or is he still trying to learn the jumps?

    I saw Cassar landing some 3-3 combos in Nationals practices and run-throughs but didn't notice any 3A attempts in Greensboro (see my post #1 in the thread linked above).
