    Jimmy Hoffa's Wikipedia page

I didn't know that the Teamsters had endoresed Nixon in 1972. I didn't think that unions endorsed Republicans. But then again, Nixon did commute Hoffa's prison sentence in 1971.

I believe the Teamsters is still not part of the AFL-CIO.

Anyone have any thoughts about what may have happened? Was it Mafia? Teamsters? Someone else?

I know in theory it's been disproved, but I abide by the end-zone-of-the-Meadowlands school of thought.
