This Sunday is 10 10 2010. Is the apocalypse or rapture forthcoming?
If it is, I hope there's plenty of warning so I can eat as much chocolate as possible beforehand.
A colleague of mine is turning 30yo on 10-10-10.
How about the kids who turn ten on 10/10/10? Now that's cool!
haribobo, don't we have until 2012 before the end of times?
i am betting a lot of marriages will happen on 10 10 10, even though it is a Sunday
the kids were looking at 08 08 08 but all the wedding venues had been booked for at least a year and some two years out.
my baby granddaughter was projected to arrive on 8-9-10 (in US dating), she had not been informed of that since she decided to arrive in july.
That's awesome! I hope she has something really special planned.
Reading this, I bet the venues are already booked for next year when it'll be 11 11 11.
The apocolypse? Hmmm....on a lighter note...
NBC 2:30 ET
Highlights from Kim Yu-Na's skating show, "All That Skate LA!"
Damn, and I got work to do over the weekend?
So will anyone be watching the movie "Ten"? [sorta skating connection: the use of Ravel's Bolero.]
Sadly, our TV just died, so I'll be forced to watch the show in the guest bedroom on the comfy bed, but sans snacks. Maybe DH will move that TV down to where the DVR lives.
ETA: The kids and I went to a thrift store today and saw a cute TV/DVD/VCR combination that would be perfect for the guest room - only $100! So tempting, but I didn't have room in the car or the manservant to do the heavy lifting.
What is it with these identical dates and sequential dates occurring either on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday?
I'm curious to see when one of these dates falls in the middle of a week.
ETA: 12-12-12 is on a Wednesday.
My friend in Japan just emailed me that they just passed 10/10/10 AM 10:10:10, LOL!
At 10:10:10 on 10/10/10, I'll be where any sane person would be...their Y2K storage space.
10/10 is also the birthday of the "Republic of China" aka. Taiwan, where the Republic overthrew the Q'ing Dynasty!!! Today also marks the beginning of the 100th year of the Republic!!
Happy Bday ROC!!
p.s. Not a political post...
Let’s see...10/10/10...a Sunday....hmmm...oh yeah....work tomorrow, even if it is Columbus Day....
My friend was due on the 17th, but had her baby today. Kinda cool.
I wonder what date it would be if October was still the 8th month and December was the 10th month . . . I'm pretty certain it would not be 10/10/10 . . . hehe
Just wait until 13/13/13...that will be a really unlucky day.
A guy on the radio yesterday announced when it was coming up to 10.10am and 10 seconds on the 10/10/10.
At least with a date like that it means that it won't confuse the US and English formatting of dates.
