Tatiana Anatolievna is nearly 70 yeas old.
They were going to have 2 shows, but decided to have 3 shows.

The skaters: Gordeeva, Kulik, Sotnikova, Medvedeva, Radionova, Kovtun, Bobrova and Soloviev, Stepanova and Bukin, TTMM, Navka and Kostomarov, Domnina and Shabalin, Petrova and Tikhonov, Drobyazko and Vanagas, Denkova and Staviski, Yagudin (who is also the host). Bestemianova and Bukin are mentioned too, but I am not sure, that they are going to skate.

Ilia continues to perform (thank goodness!) although less than years ago. The balance of performing and coaching leans more toward coaching as the years go on - that is very much an organic progression though Ilia remains in fabulous shape and keeps his own skating skills at a high performance level.

I am looking forward to seeing what he brings to the ice for TT's birthday show. Sounds like quite a party!

Rostov city keeps feeding Yagudin. Each time they bring him a plate of crawfishes. It is said, that crawfishes are very tasty in Rostov. Last year they brought the crawfishes from Rostov to Sochi. They promise to invent also another tradition: "Only keep making us happy!!!"

It's not easy to write in a foreign language - the little fine nuances are hard to master - but practising leads to improvement and you seem to be doing well. I'm not a native speaker of English either but I assume people will forgive me for grammatical and other mistakes.

It's not easy to write in a foreign language...

It's not easy to read. It seems to me writing is easier, because usually we can choose the words which we understand, when we speak. As for reading... sometimes I can't even guess the meaning of the phrase, even with a dictionary. (not in this case with "consideration", but I meet such phrases) That's why I try to make my own texts as clear as possible.
Translating some unusual phrases will be between speaking and reading. Maybe some words which I choose, are even worse than "swarthy".

Tarasova decided to come to the show in St. Petersburg (21 April), they congratulated her once again, she was very talkative too, so that they even had no time for the final later.
It seems, Yagudin's mood was fantastically good. Maybe in Moscow his skating to Kirkorov's song was OK, but in Peter his skating was extremely beautiful

olive-skinned is usually used as a compliment and often is used "silky olive skin". I have most often seen the word "swarthy" used to describe pirates who as they were outside in the wind and water their skin was dark from the sun and as clean water was scarce it could be taken as less than clean and bearded. So I might use it for a very rugged outdoorsy suntanned man.

On 9 May Russia celebrated The Victory Day
This is the end of The Great Patriotic War (that part of the WW2, which took place on our ground)

On this video Ilya Averbukh tells about his grandfather Mark Lvovich Burdo

When the war began, his grandfather was learning in a secondary medical school, he passed through the war from the beginning to the end, he was a surgeon (a doctor). Ilya is proud, that his grandfather saved many lives. His grandfather met his grandmother during the war, in 1943. Mark Lvovich was in Moscow only for 7 days, he saw a girl in subway, and after a week they married.
Mark Lvovich isn't alive, but the family saved his medals.
In the comment to the video Ilya says, that he was shocked, when he saw a TV-show, where those who are 20 years old, were trying to tell what they know about that war...

So... Volosozhar and Trankov are the Prince of Verona and his wife. Not long ago Trankov was invited to "Avtoradio", he was saying, that they will join the team only in Sochi, Averbukh will have 8 days for their pieces.
